In search of the cutest bag ever!!!

One weekend, My Papa and My Grandma Linda invited me over to stay at their house so that I could help Linda pick out clothes to go to a wedding the following weekend. We(Linda and I) went to ten stores. Ten Stores! She was given a hundred dollar bill to go spend. She used it on ONE SHIRT. Maybe I've been around my mother too long, but J.H.C!!! One shirt, for one hundred dollars. I still cant get over it. At the end of our day, we decided to hit Sears Grand in search of whatever else she could blow her money on. We wandered over to the Formal Attire section, and while she was looking at dresses, I was looking at sunglasses and umbrellas. (I know, sunglasses and umbrellas next to the Formal Attire? I was just as baffled as you) Lo and Behold, right next to the sunglasses were the little prom clutch bags. Normally, I hate and despise those itsy bitsy teensy weensy, beyond annoying cute little clutch bags, but I've gotten to the point that I am desperate for a little something to hold my stuff.
So, after telling Linda that I would be right there if she needed me, I proceeded to try on every pair of sunglasses and try out all of the purses. In the middle of my umbrella swirling spree, my phone rings.
It was my sister, telling me every thing about her day with Grandma Debby. She got Heelies, and they watched New Moon, and they ate at
Rumbi Grill. . .the list goes on and on.

Back to the story

So, I wandered over to the dressing rooms, still talking to Elle. I waited for a good 30 minuets. No Linda. Then, my phone beeps. No ID, so I ignore it. Elle says goodbye, and then my phone rings again. So I answer, and it's Linda! She tells me to go up front, so I do, we check out, and we leave to go have lasagna. (yummmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite food in the world.)

This weekend, Me and Mom went to the fabric store to pick out fabric for my window treatments. On our way back form the cutting table to pick out even more fabric, we run across little sewing packets, I immediately spot the cutest bag that I have ever seen. I asked mom for it, and she said that she had found a pattern for a purse like that online, and that it would be cheaper to do it that way. So ensued the hunt for just the right fabric pieces. I agonized over colors("Which color, blue, purple, orange, red, pink, brown, green. . .?) and then patterns. (Stripes, emblems, polka dots, random dots, plain, Fleur De Les. . .?)
I eventually decided to go with Brown, Pink, Stripes and Emblems. Once we got home, we looked all over for a pattern that I liked. Once we found that, we dealt with sizes. In the middle of that, my Grandma and Madi came over. Madi had gotten a pair of Heelies, and Dad, Elle and I helped her to use them somewhat better than what she had beforehand. After they left, Mom and I got down to business while Dad watched Amazing Race 16 and Bullrun. (1)The cowboys were the first time to arrive, 2)Team Lambo is still in.) After a few mishaps,we finally got the cutest bag ever made finished, I already holds my earrings, a pen, a book, my Zune and lipstick. Its a good little bag, it fits most of my books, is reversible, and pretty sturdy. I look forward to using it.

Until my next crazily exhausting crafty day!!!
